Now that it’s been almost a month since I’ve been home, all the dust has settled, and my competition to beat Allison has reached US-Soviet Union winter olympic levels, so it’s time to wrap up my semester abroad. Even though I relish the idea of finishing this post up and posting it to Alizun’s wall, it’s a huge bummer that with this I am in a sense mentally done with my time in Rome. But it must be done, and I am telling myself the pleasure of beating Allison will fill the hole in my heart.
Or at least make my heart grow 2 sizes
Quick shout out to Anna Banana, whose idea of listing out some favorites of the semester I am copying below. I will begin with my favorite favorites: FOOD
Favorite Pizza: La Focaccia. I cannot emphasize this enough. This is the best pizza I have ever had, and I’ve had a lot of pizza. Everything about it is perfect.

Favorite Pizza al toglia: Da Li Cochi A Trastevere. Although the pizza by the pound places around trastevere were all delicious, my favorite was a pizza by the slice place down the street (Via della Scala) run by a pair of really nice guys.
